Rafting day trip
Trysil River is particularly well-suited to rafting and river activities.
The water is relatively warm compared with many other rafting rivers in Norway, which originate from glaciers. There are also no linked rapids, which means that there are some calm stretches between all the torrents.
The trip will take you through the wildest rapids in the Trysil/Femund River, from Myrstad, past Elvbrua and down to Krokbekkvika. Difficulty grade 2-3+. The stretch is around 12 kilometres long, and we are on the river for around 2–3 hours. On this trip we challenge the river’s forces and enjoy all the fun it has to offer.
The tour is rounded off in our lavvo tent with coffee and a hot meal.
Extreme rafting
The river Drevja offers new challenges for those of you who have participated in rafting previously and wish to test their steel in radical rapids, whirling streams and sudden drops.
The stretch of river we paddle is approx. 10 km, and we pass by a number of falls and rapids on the way down. The river varies between levels 4 and 5 depending on the water level.
After the trip, you get something warm to drink to soothe your nerves.
Age limit: 18 years
Starting site: Elvenes, Vestsidevn. 11
Duration: Approx. 4.5 hours
Price: NOK 875 per person, incl. transport
Season: May - September (depending on water level)
Ducky daytrip
Ducky trips are one of the river activities you can try out in Trysil. The ducky trips take place on the same stretch of the Trysil River as the rafting trips, but ducky is a little more challenging. You sit in a small two-person raft, and you have your own kayak oar to steer the boat with. The small boat allows you to get closer to the river and the force of the water, and the river seems much mightier than it does when sitting in a large raft boat.
Ducky trips offer a plethora of opportunities, and you can easily stop along the way to surf on the waves. If you like you can make a little detour into the water and then climb back into the boat again.
Ducky is recommended for people who have some rafting experience. The trip finishes off in a lavvo tent, where you’ll be served hot food and coffee.
