Excellent hiking in Trysil

Trysil has many stunning areas for walking throughout the summer holiday season. Trysil is a large, heavily wooded municipality with inviting mountains. With this comes an extensive network of forest tracks and paths.

In Trysil you can hike along marked trails, join a guided walk or enjoy the excellent view from one of the peaks in our Top 5 Trysil programme. You’ll find options suitable for the whole family, including mountain, heath and forest walks. If you’re lucky you might meet elk, roe deer, wood grouse and other animals along the way.

In the menu on the left you’ll find descriptions of some of our marked routes and of some of Trysil’s most stunning walking areas. The Trysil Tourist Office can provide you with route tips, descriptions and a free map of the marked trails.
