Practical fly-fishing course
In Trysil you have the opportunity to sign up for an exclusive fly-fishing course where instructors will be on hand throughout to follow-up on what you’ve learned.

The course lasts three days and is held in small groups, thus ensuring a high level of personal instructor follow-up.

The course comprises casting skills, insect theory, basic fly tying and river knowledge, where you will learn to ‘read’ the river. The aim is that you will leave the course well-equipped to go fishing on your own.

The course can be adapted to suit the skills of the group. Equipment can be hired on-site and it is also possible to purchase a complete beginner’s pack. The pack contains waders, wading boots, a complete fishing rod and the relevant flies.

There is a minimum of two participants on any course, and a maximum of four.

Time, location and cost
Time: The course runs from Friday to Sunday from 15 June to 30 September.
Location: The theoretical part of the course takes place at Trysil Hyttegrend, Øråneset, just south of Trysil town centre. A fishing spot is chosen during the course, to fit in with what is being taught.
Cost: NOK 6 200/person. Not including food and board. We recommend staying at Trysil Hyttegrend where the theoretical part of the course will be held.
