The Trysil-based company Call of the Wild owns the European import rights for Clackacraft drift boats. The boats, which are manufactured in the USA, are specially designed for guided fishing and constructed to withstand wild rapids. The boats have a flat, strong and wide base and high sides. They also have a high bow on both sides, which allows them to withstand large rapids.
The drift boats are certified for class 4 rapids and are therefore able to withstand all the challenges posed by the Trysil River. Because of this, the boats can provide you with unique access to the best fishing locations, and also make fishing more comfortable and efficient.
There is room for one angler at either end of the boat, as well as a guide, who sits in the middle.
Each angler has a specially designed seat that rotates 360 degrees, allowing the angler to face their casting direction at all times. In front of the anglers is a thigh-height boom, which makes it easy to fish when standing as well. The boats are also equipped with many other features such as cup holders, rod holders and compartments to make your experience on the river a comfortable one.
